About Us

Growing Partnerships & Our Competitive Advantage

The Logistics Alliance of the Carolinas (LAC) was created as a result of the Centralina Economic Development Commission's comprehensive economic development strategy which focuses on key regional industry clusters and regional growth. The logistics industry plays a vital role in keeping the economic engine moving in the Carolinas, and the LAC's role is to ensure that logistics companies find the resources that they need to remain competitive in the region. The LAC's efforts include a virtual resource network for the logistics industry to strengthen the linkages between public and private entities.

Our Goals

  • Promote the efficacy and growth of the logistics/transportation industry in the southeast
  • Provide a real-time virtual forum to enhance collaboration among sector stakeholders
  • Encourage discussion of innovative products to ensure security in the industry

Our Vision

To create outstanding public/private partnerships that consistently support our region in being the best in the world in the logistics industry.
